One of the poems from Liffey Swim – ‘Leaving My Hands Behind’ – is featured in this new anthology from Bloodaxe, which focuses on women’s relationships with their bodies.

Mine is about cutting my own hands off so they can’t do any more damage. Hmm.

Worrying Freudian revelations aside, this is a really interesting anthology, with a great selection of poems by women poets working in the English language today. More info available here
