The cover says it all – I’m delighted to have a new poem featured in issue 1.2 of Dimitra Xidous and Patrick Chapman’s gorgeous journal The Pickled Body.
The launch is tomorrow at the Ranelagh Arts Centre. Here’s the pertinent info (food, poems, food, how can you resist??):
An amuse-bouche is a single, bite-sized hors d’œuvre. Often complemented by a particular wine, amuse-bouches both prepare the guest for the meal and offer a glimpse into the chef’s approach to the art of cuisine.
Poetry too, lives in the mouth. The Pickled Body Café will be popping up between 2-4:30pm on Saturday April 12th, 2014 at the Ranelagh Arts Centre to launch Issue 1.2 – Amuse Bouche.
There will be an assortment of amuse bouches on offer, and some lovely music to amuse the ears. There will also be postcards, and poets reading work from the issue.
The afternoon will be MC’d by The Pickled Body editors – Patrick Chapman and Dimitra Xidous. And there will be pickles. Lots and lots of pickles.
